In addition to capturing movement of goods and viewing stock levels, COSYS inventory management also offers various evaluations. For example, you can use the evaluations to see which articles are the current top sellers. This allows you to optimally stock your warehouse. You can also see on which days a particularly large number of orders were processed. This allows you to perfectly coordinate your staffing requirements. These are just two of the many analyses you can carry out with COSYS. The COSYS dashboards offer great added value and can also be exported as a PDF file.
Smartphone or mobile computer
With the COSYS app and performance barcode scanning, you can easily capture barcodes and data matrix codes using the integrated device camera. This turns your smartphone into a fully-fledged barcode scanner. Alternatively, you can use the COSYS app on your Android mobile computer and scan using the integrated scan engine.
Cloud based or OnPremise
You simply use the app and our backend from the cloud without having to worry about system administration, thus relieving your internal IT. Optionally also available on-premise on a local (virtual) server.

After entering the app, you can log in with your user name and password. All activated modules will then appear. The modules can also be activated or deactivated individually for individual users via administration in WebDek. As soon as you click on a module, you enter it.
Our system supports a fixed bin system as well as chaotic storage. You can choose whether you want to display storage bins with stock or whether the article should be posted to a new storage bin. The storage bins can be selected from the list or entered by scanning.
After capturing the article that was withdrawn, the quantity and the withdrawal storage bin, a comment or a project reference can also be entered in order to allocate the consumption and material costs. This data can be used for internal evaluation and also supports targeted reordering.
During the transfer of stock, you enter the article, the quantity and the withdrawal storage location. It is also possible to transfer several articles directly, thus avoiding unnecessary journeys. In the second step, the articles are stored into the new storage bin. The mobile app can display the storage bins where the article is already stored so that no new storage bin needs to be added.
After entering an order, the ordered articles are displayed. By scanning the article numbers on the products, the products can be easily identified, thus saving long reconciliations. If an article is entered that has not been ordered, a message is displayed. Depending on the system configuration, these replacement articles can be accepted or rejected. After scanning an articlce, the quantity must be recorded. Reasons must be given for deviating quantities. In addition, a storage bin is selected in which the article is stored. If it is a batch or serial number-managed article, this value is also recorded.
To do this, the employee goes to the storage bin, scans the item code and is then told how many items are to be picked. The employee confirms the item by entering the quantity. An error message is issued if there is a quantity discrepancy, excess quantities can be prevented and shortages can be justified. Once the items have been completed, the order can be parked for further processing at a later date or completed and reported back to the inventory management system.
Storage bins with stock can also be displayed. For example, a storage bin with remaining stock can be cleared quickly. The warehouse employee scans the article, sees the number of article in the storage bin and can decide to clear the storage bin for this article. The article can then be quickly transferred to another bin.
In addition to the article number and article text, other attributes (best-before date, serial number, batch number) can also appear on the label for articles. You can also enter these on the screen. You can also specify how many labels are required. Label printing can also be triggered from the stock info and putaway modules.
The captured photos can be stored on the server. It is also possible to display the images in reports. For example, you can create reports for incoming goods or picking orders that show the captured articles and images. You can then provide this report to suppliers or customers as evidence in the event of complaints.

In principle, many devices with the Android mobile operating system (iOS with additional effort) can be used with the mobile app. In addition to MDE devices and tablets, smartphones can also be used. Barcodes can be captured at lightning speed using the integrated device camera or, when using MDE devices, barcodes can be captured using the integrated imager.
In addition to Wi-Fi, data can also be synchronized via mobile radio or an Ethernet station.
Data can also be captured offline. As soon as a network/internet connection is available again, the app automatically synchronizes the order and inventory data so that the app works with the most up-to-date data possible. Depending on the configuration, a connection is mandatory when entering orders, which simultaneously blocks the order from being processed by other employees.
Yes, for example, stock can be easily accessed via the article info and material can be added or removed from stock using the storage and retrieval modules. All transactions are traceable and possible in these modules even without default data such as sales orders. A reference number / comment field can be used to assign the stock placement or removal from storage to a project or cost center, for example.
